This class will introduce you to the potter’s wheel, and the process of making a pot; throwing, trimming, glazing. Perfect for beginners or those needing to refresh their skills.

Sharifa Fadel
I started my pottery journey in 2020 at Fireborn Studios. I really needed a creative outlet for healing and self-expression, and I found my safe space in clay. I love making functional pieces with very personal writings and sgraffito paintings, taking something deep and private like thoughts from my journal and displaying them on everyday-use pieces meant to be closely looked at and held and felt. Most recently I have been experimenting with combining my love of pottery with other mediums I enjoy, like making custom ceramic buttons for my knitting projects. Clay is so grounding and sacred to me and I love to share its healing powers!
