Learn the basics of clay, from throwing on the potter’s wheel to handbuilding techniques. In this beginner-friendly class, you will learn different ways to shape clay and how to decorate it.

Aaron Frederick

Hey y’all, I’m Aaron Frederick, an art educator who prides myself in my ability to help students experiment with materials & create something they are proud of. In 2025, I  graduated with a degree in Art Education and a Minor in Ceramics from Edinboro University. Within the ceramics studio, I love to combine wheel thrown pottery with sculpting techniques to build eye-catching vessels, with a large focus on color and texture. I look forward to guiding you towards achieving your clay-making goals!
