Meet the Instructor:
Katie Botterman
Katie Botterman is a ceramic artist, instructor, and ancient history nerd working in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She earned her BFA from Ohio University in 2021. Botterman has completed a residency at New Harmony Clay Project, in New Harmony, Indiana, and she was recently the ceramics artist in residence at Pittsburgh Center for Arts + Media. By teaching at multiple studios, she continues to share her love of clay with others while pursuing her own new works. Her work often revolves around permanence and remembrance, writing in cuneiform to connect across time. When not in a studio, she can be found adventuring outdoors: skiing, kayaking, or backpacking.

Any class or workshop may be cancelled due to low student enrollment. Eberle Studios will inform any registered students if a class is cancelled and when a refund will be issued.
If a day for a multi-week class is cancelled due to inclement weather or other issue, Eberle Studios will contact instructors and students with a rescheduled class time.
-
If a student can no longer take a course they have registered for, they must notify Eberle Studios at least one week before the start date in order to receive a full refund. For classes and workshops please email us at: classes@eberlestudios.art

Unfortunately, there are no make-up sessions for students who miss a day of their multi-week class. Many classes are recurring so you can register for it again the following term to continue working on your art.
-
You will receive an email once your pieces from class are done and times you can pick them up. Remember to bring a box and something to safely wrap your artwork in! Congratulations! You are a ceramic artist! We strive for our students to enjoy the process and get creative!

We are all about building community and our students are a major part of that! Refer your friends to take a class or workshop, list their name when you register.
After we see that friend has signed up for a course we will reach out to you with a discount!
