Kathryn Konrad

Kathryn lives, works, and makes art in Pittsburgh and is the proud mother of a 2.5 year old. In her art and life, Kathryn repurposes obstacles for motivation and turns setbacks into stepping stones. As a teacher of the visually impaired, she serves students grade K-8 with profound visual impairments.

As an artist, Kathryn is multi-disciplinary in ceramics, sculpture, film, aerial silks, fiber, and music. Kathryn went through a slow recovery from a severe b12 deficiency that has impacted her life and vision. Kathryn is completing a Masters Degree in 2025 and is looking forward to more time to think and create.
