As a Multi-Disciplinary Artist, the fluidity of the process and materials as remnants of making are paramount to my philosophy of creating. I work with tools and movements that allow the material to help inform the outcome. Relying heavily on both the information given to me by the material and the physicality of the technique within the medium, I am working with a harmony of repetition that comes through as a meditation of movement. The presence of process in my work is essential as I meditate on constructing and finishing the outcome of a particular piece or overarching project. As my creative work develops, the conversation between me and the material grows and develops, revealing a bodily response to a continuum between the creator and the created.

“Without deep solitude the act of creation is simply impossible.”
